January Homework - Pea Diary

This is a recap of the instructions you were given in class. Remember... If your peas die you can always collect more from me.

1. Soak your peas in cold tap water for 24hrs
2. Place your peas on damp tissue in a saucer in a warm light place
3. Every day make sure that they have water and record any changes you see. For example:

• My seeds swelled up
• One of my seeds has a white root which is 2 mm long

Hint: It might be sensible to design a table to record your results in which might have the following columns: Day; Root length; Shoot length; Observations; etc
