Garden Bird Survey
Over the next couple of weeks you are asked to take part in a survey of the birds that visit Irish gardens and complete a form that will be submitted to BirdWatchIreland.
Details of the survey can be found here and a downloadable form to complete here.
Details of the 20 most common garden birds can be found here.
Please return all forms to Mr. Clarke at the end of the survey period.
There are a number of ways that you can encourage birds to visit your garden including putting food out for them on a bird table or suspended from tree branches. Bear in mind that food may encourage other animals to your garden and that cats, (or other predators), and birds don't mix well.
There will be prizes for the best efolio pages of your surveys, which could include pictures you have taken.
Ask in class for any further information or use the help option.
