Use the time this week and over mid-term to revise the following topics in preparation for a class test: Human and plant reproduction, Germination, Atomic structure, Ionic and covalent bonding and Density. Enjoy the holidays when they come
Work covering the determination of density. In support of the work you are doing in class, read, copy out fully and learn the procedures outlined in figures 39.1, 39.2 and 39.3 on pages 263 and 264 of your text book.
Complete questions A 1-3 on page 170 of your text book and also B1 and 2
Cut out and arrange the ions and hands to make ionic and covalent compounds. Attempt to name some of your creations. If you follow the rules of one hand on one and a minus for every plus you will be guaranteed to make molecules or compounds that exist.
The completion date has been extended to allow those going to Delphi to hand it up as well.
All questions on pages 154 and 155 of your text book should be completed. For those that require a missing word to complete a sentence make sure you write out the whole sentence in your copy and not just the missing words. |
